@1969: Girl..... now you KNOW.... I feel ya.....I went to a school that was PREDOMINANTLY black though it was a school where you had to apply to get in and you had curriculums,etc. and was diverse enough. LOL
And since I was a preppy kid, I (and my friends) listened to it ALLLLLLLLLLLLL, The Cure, The Smiths, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Cyndi Lauper, Depeche Mode, U2, Prefab Sprout, Grandmaster Flash, Beastie Boys, Culture Club...... you get the picture.

Coming up on the tail end of this but I loved the Pet Shop Boys. I used to play this over and over again (cassette tapes) until that sucka got stuck in the tape player and you know how that goes, right?
